These are your tasks and responsibilities.
As a Field Engineer in the projects department, you will be responsible for installing and commissioning maritime electronics on board ships. Your work will take place at shipyards on various types of vessels, for this position you will be mainly active in the French defence industry. You will work with a wide range of equipment, such as radars, sonars, chart systems, radio equipment, and autopilot systems On-site, you will be the face of Radio Holland and will coordinate activities with other parties working on board. The scope of your work is local, and you are located in Marseille or Le Havre (France).
Responsibilities:
- Install equipment based on technical drawings.
- Commission equipment and hand it over to the customer.
- Coordinate on-site activities in collaboration with the shipyard and other parties working on board.
Requirements
This characterizes you:
- Strong communication skills.
- You are motivated, independent, precise, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
This is what we ask of you:
- You are already legally authorized to work in France.
- Experienced in working in a technical/industrial environment, preferably a background in the maritime industry.
- Vocational education or equivalent.
- Fluent in French (verbally and in writing).
